Bobbie Lowden had 28 years of experience in Alaska elementary and secondary schools and ten years of teaching as an instructor at University of Alaska Southeast. She has mentored and taught classes to Master of Arts in Teaching secondary interns at UAS and has served as a statewide education consultant. Bobbie was an instructor at five Alaska Geographic Institutes as well as one with the National Forest Service. She co-authored curriculum for the Alaska Seafood Marketing Institute website, a teacher’s guide for Alaska in Maps web site, and wrote curriculum for the Juneau School District Alternative High School. She has created and taught a 300 and a 600 level Alaska Studies course for the University of Alaska Southeast for the last eight years.
