Timeline

A goal of historical study is the cultivation of the perspective arising from a chronological view of the past down to the present day. This course incorporates a timeline that is aligned with the chronological periods identified in AK history performance standards. Major events and turning points are identified chronologically on the Alaska timeline. Additionally, Alaska events are identified in relation to national and world events so that students can place events in Alaska in relationship with what was happening in the rest of the country and in the world.
